Just because you can see the anchor bolts are in place with the washers and nuts on them does not mean they are tightened down. Many times, the framers will carry these washers and nuts in their tool bags when they are standing up the exterior walls and just slip on the washers and spin the nuts on just so they do not get lost. It is your job to make sure they are all tightened down well.

You can either request the framer to re-check every single nut to be sure it is tight or you can get a wrench and check them yourself. Either way, do not be surprised if the inspector reaches down to see if he can turn one or two with his fingers. Even one nut being loose is enough to fail the framing inspection and possibly create a re-inspection fee.

Other than the electrical, the inspector will probably spend more time looking at the framing.

Thanks
Steve
