I once built a Shelby Cobra that was on the cover of Kit Car magazine in October of 2001. It was a beautiful car and the attention to detail was like no other.
Fast forward to now I am building a 1974 Jeep CJ5 into a one of a king truck. I have sectioned the body tub in three different areas, removed the back behind the seat and brought the back panel (no tailgate on this jeep) up behind the seats. I have extended the foot area by 9″ as well. I have also built a custom truck bed for the back that I am still working on the frame structure and the sheet metal work.
The jeep was raced in the sand drags when I was much younger. My uncle bought the jeep almost new, and we raced it in the sand drags for many years. I inherited the jeep when he went to be with our Lord.
The jeep has a 350 small block Chevy engine in it now that I am building to be a torque monster. I am really not worried about the HP; I just want more torque.
Thanks

This has been a major undertaking to say the least. But it has been fun at the same time.
Anyone else have a project they are working on?
Thanks
