I am almost finished with the book. But every time I read it, I think, “Hey, I should add this information in there”

So, I re-write and add some more. I know at some point I need to stop adding information, but I am truly trying to make a home building reference book that you can take with you every day and study it as you go along through the build. 

It is a really informative book. It is not just another checklist or something AI wrote. Everything, every single word (even the misspelled ones) I wrote based on my four decades in the construction business. 

The book will take you from when you buy the land all the way through moving in.

In everything I have tried to place in the book, I will be the first one to tell you that I do not know everything there is to know about the building business. I hear builders say that all the time. To Me it just shows how much they do not know. 

However, this book and my systems have helped our company to build just under 5,000 projects over four decades. So, I have seen a lot, but not everything. 

That is why I wrote the book, built this website with the forum and then added a Facebook page, a You Tube Channel and other social media platforms may follow. 

The YouTube Channel is for me making short tutorials on the worksheets and schedules I have used over the years and explain how to use them. I will do walk throughs on new builds and point out what I see as well as what to look for. 

The forum on this site is set up in sequential order of the way you would build a home. It also is in the same order as our schedule, our vendor tracking reports and a couple of other worksheets we use. 

I have tried to make it as easy as possible to learn and get help when you get stuck during the build. It happens to all of us when we just get started.
