You may be asking if you can build your own home. The short answer is yes, but you need to know many things before getting started. 

In some states you cannot build your own home, in your name. You need a General Contractor, in other states you just need a company name to build. 

I have written a new book, Build Your Own Home – Trees To Keys. 

The book is in its final review and editing now. It is just under 400 pages and 135K words. This is not just another checklist for you to follow along and figure it out as you go. This guide will take you by the hand through every stage of the build, teaching you not what to do, but what to look out for and what NOT to do.

I have spent over four decades in the building business and I just wanted to give back a little. Along with writing the book, I have created this website with the forum you see laid out in sequential order just as you would build your home.
