“Working the Finals” means cabinets are going in, trim is being nailed, plumbing fixtures are being hooked up, and final paint is rolling out. This stage requires extreme care because trades can easily damage each other’s finished work (like an electrician scratching a brand-new countertop).
- What is your strategy for your final punch list? How are you tracking the tiny flaws, missed paint spots, or loose trim?
- Scheduling: How are you managing the scheduling overlap of your final trim, flooring, and paint trades?
