Hey everyone. I am Steve Parks. I am your builder your host and the author of Build Your Own Home. 

I have invested over 41 years in the construction industry building churches, homes, entire communities, equestrian centers and many commercial properties. 

Why I Created Build Right Community

I wrote the book for one simple reason. I want to be able to provide help to those who want to build your own home. The effort is genuine and I have spent years writing the book and putting as much into it as I could without you needing a forklift just to pick it up. 

I have provided very detailed steps in order on how to build your budgets and how to schedule the project from the day you get the idea to the day you move in. Sure, there are other books out there that suggest they are “detailed” but honestly, I have not found one yet that would answer a thousand questions I had when I first started building.  

I have provided worksheets and schedules and directions on how to use them. The Appendix will also have copies that are clean and could be copied. At the same time, I intend to provide downloadable copies here on the website for those who have purchased the book. 

I will be on this site every day and I will be here to answer as many questions as I know the answer to, to help you get started. Once the site attracts more members, we will have a wealth of information that is available nowhere else. 

I will soon have the book listed for sale on this site, as a paperback and as a downloadable PDF version. I will also be selling it on Amazon once we get everything lined out on that end. 

The book is about 400 pages and 140,000 words. It is a wealth of information at your fingertips.
